I recently completed this upcycled surfboard and the client used one of her own boards - love that she can keep all the memories and give a new life to her board !

Throwing down this layer of resin while the babies were napping- nothing like your daughter coming in halfway telling you she has to poo as motivation to finish 😂

One of the things I love about using resin is that it’s a liquid medium and much like the ocean, will flow where it wants.
My biggest challenges are when I’m upcycling surfboards, as the resin will settle in old compression dents and loves to flow off the edges 😂 but who doesn’t love a challenge right !
I feel like each piece takes me on a journey- which most the time I don’t see in the moment.
